This part is not as long as the first one and mainly building a bridge to the next one, but I didn't know how to write the fic without this. I promise, the next one will have a lot more action.

I would never let some over-educated, so-called advisor at university talk me out of what I want. Back then, I wanted to learn to be a translator and let him talk me out of it, because he thought there were too many translators and too few job. As I had a lack of confidence at that time, I believed him.

Now - 15 years later - I'd love to be a translator and I'm sure I would find a good job... But the only way to come close to that goal would be a private institute where I could study from home - and that would cost me 208€ (about 325 $) per month. That's way more then I can afford, as I'm currently in a re-education and will only be able to work part time because of my son. I don't have a daycare for him, just kindergarten in the mornings.

There are some more things I would change, but this is the decision I regret the most.

I have been playing with my photoshop lately to make a few banners for myself and thought I'd share them with you...

I have some Torchwood, Doctor Who (Ten) and Buffy, just a teaser here and the rest will be under the cut.

e_schemer has volunteered to be my beta reader, so it will be a while before I'm posting more stories, but their style and grammar will certainly be better.
